Discover the Tatra Mountains on a full-day adventure from Krakow! Enjoy a scenic horseback ride through forests, rivers, and mountain trails, explore the local village, taste traditional oscypek cheese, and unwind in relaxing thermal baths - the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation.

Your journey begins with a visit to Chocholow, a UNESCO-listed wooden village known for its charming highlander cottages. Step into a local sculptor’s hut, meet the artist, and learn about the traditional craftsmanship that has been preserved for generations. Wander through a living open-air museum of traditional highlander architecture.

Next, you will arrive at a horse stable in Zakopane for your horseback riding lesson. The session is tailored to your experience level, so even if you have no prior riding experience, there’s nothing to worry about! After your lesson, enjoy a scenic horseback ride through picturesque mountain trails, riding along forests, across rivers, and open meadows with breathtaking views of the Tatra Mountains. (Routes may vary depending on weather conditions.)

Next, you will stop at a traditional shepherd’s hut (bacowka) to taste the famous smoked sheep cheese, oscypek, made right before your eyes. Warm up with local drink and savor this authentic highlander experience.

Continue to Zakopane, the winter capital of Poland, where you’ll have free time to explore at your own pace. Stroll along Krupowki Street, browse local markets, or take the Gubalowka cable car for panoramic views of the Tatra peaks.

Finally, relax at Chocholowskie Thermal Baths, one of the largest thermal complexes in Poland. Enjoy indoor and outdoor pools, saunas, and breathtaking mountain views. During busy periods, we may visit Goracy Potok Thermal Baths instead, for a quieter and more enjoyable experience.

Please note: 2 hour horse ride is not included and must be paid in cash on site (250 Polish Zloty). The sculptor’s hut is closed on Sundays and public holidays. During snowfall in the Tatra Mountains, horse rides are replaced by a magical sleigh ride offering stunning views and the enchanting sounds of winter.

Pick-up information

• Our driver will contact you the day before your tour to confirm your exact pick-up time (usually between 07:30 - 08:00 AM).

• Please be ready and waiting outside your hotel 10 minutes before your scheduled pick-up.

• Important: In some areas, especially the city centre, pick-up locations may be adjusted due to pedestrian-only zones and limited parking. If this applies, our driver will arrange the most convenient nearby meeting point for you.
